The purpose of this article is to reflect about Walter Benjamin´s conception of translation. However, in order to do that we need to focus on his ideas about language and reading. In a second moment, we are introducing four comments about “A Tarefa/Renúncia do Tradutor”, one of Benjamin´s main essays.
